Description
Benefits:
- Comforting warm–cool feel:
ginger/turmeric/cayenne provide gentle
warmth; peppermint offers a light cooling
sensation.
2. Herbal “spa” aroma: rosemary +
peppermint create a fresh, invigorating
scent for the self-care ritual.
3. Topical, cushiony paste that encourages a
slow, mindful rest period over tender,
overworked areas.
4. Water-free (as sold) for simple storage;
mixed fresh for each session..
Ingredients:
Zingiber Officinale (Ginger) Root Powder,
Curcuma Longa (Turmeric) Root Powder,
Capsicum Annuum (Cayenne) Fruit Powder,
Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf
Powder, Salix Alba (Willow) Bark Powder,
Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Leaf Powder,
Urtica Dioica (Nettle) Leaf Powder,
Magnesium Hydroxide.
Instructions:
- Mix the paste
- In a clean bowl, add 1–2 Tbsp dry powder.
Stir in 1–2 Tbsp warm water/tea/castor oil (or
aloe gel) to a soft oatmeal consistency. - Let stand 3–5 minutes to thicken and mellow
the aromatics. - Apply on clean, dry skin of the target area (e.g.,
calves, knees, shoulders), spread a thin layer (1⁄8–
1⁄4 in / 3–6 mm). - Cover with a clean cotton cloth or gauze;
optionally place a warm (not hot) towel on top. - Rest 10–20 minutes with slow breathing (in 4
sec / out 6–8 sec). - Remove cloth, wipe residue with a damp cloth,
and pat dry. - Optional: follow with a light body oil/balm.
- Frequency: 1–3× weekly as desired (or short
daily streaks for 2–3 days during “tender”
periods). - Do not store leftovers. Mix fresh each use and
discard any unused hydrated paste.
Storage Place:
- Dry blend: Keep airtight, cool, dark, and bone-dry.
Best within 12 months. - Hydrated paste: Single-use only—discard after
the session. - Use clean, dry utensils to avoid introducing
moisture into the jar.
Pro Tips:
- Barrier trick: Rub 1–2 drops of bland oil (e.g.,jojoba) on skin before the poultice to ease clean-
up and limit sting. - Activators:
- Aloe gel = more slip + gentler cooling.
- Ginger tea = cozier warmth.
- Castor Oil = more therapeutic effects
- Water = most neutral.
- Follow-up ritual: After removal, apply a whisper-
thin layer of a neutral balm and do gentle range-
of-motion or light stretches for 1–2 minutes. - “Do not use with a heating pad” and “Wash hands
after application.”
Cautions:
- External use only. Patch test (inner forearm) 24 hrs before
first use. - Heat & spice: Cayenne and ginger are warming—use thin
layers and warm, not hot compresses; discontinue if burning
or persistent redness occurs. - Eyes/mucosa: Keep away; wash hands after use.
- Salicylates: Willow bark contains natural salicylates—avoid if
allergic to aspirin/salicylates, if you have bleeding disorders,
or are using anticoagulant therapy (seek clinician guidance). - Pregnancy/breastfeeding/children: Use essential-oil
botanicals and warming spices cautiously; many choose a
reduced-spice or peppermint-free variant. - Skin status: Do not apply over broken, irritated, or infected
skin; avoid large body areas. - Medical concerns: If pain/swelling is severe, unexplained, or
worsening, consult a clinician. - Not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease; not
FDA evaluated.
