Instructions: 

  • Drink up to 3 Cups a day
  • 1 to 2 tablespoon of herbs per cup (8 oz of hot water)
  • May add honey and/or Stevia (for sweetness)
  • Heat + simmer for 20-30 mins
  • Optional-add 1 teaspoon Lemon juice (for added digestive benefits)

Storage Tips:

  • Store in a cool dry environment, away from direct sunlight
  • Keep airtight lid on when not in use

Caution:

  • Licorice Root-Should not be used during pregnancy, nor by individuals diabetes, glaucoma, heart disease, high blood pressure, severe menstrual problems, or history of stroke.
  • Peppermint-May interfere with iron absorption. Should not be used by pregnant or nursing women.
  • Elder-Should not be used during pregnancy
  • Echinacea-Do not take for longer than 3 weeks. Should not be used by individuals who are allergic to ragweed
  • Ginger-Not recommended for individuals who take anticoagulants or have gallstones. Not recommended for extended use during pregnancy.
  • Lemongrass-Excessive intake may affect kidney functions + can damage liver + stomach mucus membranes
  • Red-Clover-Do not take if you have a hormone-sensitive disease + are taking methotrexate, or using a blood thinner
  • Hyssop-Should not be used during pregnancy.
