Instructions:
- Drink up to 3 Cups a day
- 1 to 2 tablespoon of herbs per cup (8 oz of hot water)
- May add honey and/or Stevia (for sweetness)
- Heat + simmer for 20-30 mins
- Optional-add 1 teaspoon Lemon juice (for added digestive benefits)
Storage Tips:
- Store in a cool dry environment, away from direct sunlight
- Keep airtight lid on when not in use
Caution:
- Licorice Root-Should not be used during pregnancy, nor by individuals diabetes, glaucoma, heart disease, high blood pressure, severe menstrual problems, or history of stroke.
- Peppermint-May interfere with iron absorption. Should not be used by pregnant or nursing women.
- Elder-Should not be used during pregnancy
- Echinacea-Do not take for longer than 3 weeks. Should not be used by individuals who are allergic to ragweed
- Ginger-Not recommended for individuals who take anticoagulants or have gallstones. Not recommended for extended use during pregnancy.
- Lemongrass-Excessive intake may affect kidney functions + can damage liver + stomach mucus membranes
- Red-Clover-Do not take if you have a hormone-sensitive disease + are taking methotrexate, or using a blood thinner
- Hyssop-Should not be used during pregnancy.
